To achieve this goal, I've started by trying to learn as much as possible from my classes.
To this end, I've been able to maintain a 3.99 GPA. I obviously love learning and take great pleasure immersing myself in the material. A computer science professor once said to me:
"I have never had a student who wanted to learn as much as you."
Outside of classes, I recently took advantage of an internship opportunity at Google to design and develop an internal tool used by lab admins and software developers. I returned last summer to work on Chrome.
Finally, I'm a firm believer that in order to understand, you ought to teach. I've been a CSC tutor for the department for three years.
